The Rivers State Police Command says it has not been oficially informed of the abduction of popular poet – Oruz Kennedy.
Spokesperson of the command, Grace Iringi Koko disclosed this in chat with journalists on Thursday.
She urged family members of the victim to make a compliant at the nearest Police station or come to the Force Headquarters to enable them have facts and figure to begin investigation.
She also it is difficult for the Force to know everything that happens without an official report, adding that they are not magicians.
Meanwhile, wife of the victim – Oruz Kennedy said he was reportedly abducted with other passengers on their way to Port Harcourt from Abuja. She said his abductors are currently demanding N20 million for his release.
