The All Progressives Congress in Rivers State has dismissed calls by spokesperson of the PDP campaign council, Ogbonna Nwuke for security operatives to invite Dakuku Peterside and Tonye Cole to answer questions on crises that rocked its campaign rally in Opobo.
Nwuke had in a statement accused the party chieftains of being behind the crises in Opobo LGA.
However, Publicity Secretary of the APC, Darlington Nwauju said the call by Nwuke is to divert the attention of security operatives from arresting those behind the crises.
He accused the PDP of being behind the attacks on opposition parties in the state, with the Police aiding the crime.
Nwauju had in a statement called for the suspension of all political instruments due to the rising spate of violence in the state.
