Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress in Rivers State, Darlington Nwauju has called for the suspension of all Democratic instruments in the state following the spate of violence lately.
Nwauju who made the call after the campaign train of the APC was attacked in Opobo/Nkoro LGA Today, said security is absent in the state.
He also alleged that an overzealous police officer attempted to shoot at Chairman of the party in the state, Chief, Emeka Beke Today, and called for a state of emergency to be declared in Rivers State.
His statement reads,

ALL DEMOCRATIC INSTRUMENTS MUST BE SUSPENDED IN RIVERS STATE NOW, SECURITY IS ABSENT…EMERGENCY RULE NOW!!!
