Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has announced that the Opobo/Andonni unity road would be commissioned by December 2020. This is in fulfillment of the promise he made to the people of the region.
The governor made this known yesterday, when leaders of Opobo ably led by the paramount ruler, King Dandison Jaja paid him a courtesy visit at Government House Port Harcourt.
Wike reinterated that his administration is committed to delivering infrastructural projects that will affect the lives of the people.
He also stated that the state government is doing everything humanly possible for the people of the region to go home by road this December.
