Environmental Rights Campaigner, Celestine Akpbobari has criticised the choice of Gov. Nyesom Wike to lead the Multi Consultative Forum to discuss with the Federal Government on the planned resumption of oil production in OML 11 in Ogoni land.
Akpobari, in a statement yesterday, said Wike is not qualified to lead the delegation having claimed to have bought 45 percent shares from OML 11.
He said there are qualified sons of Ogoni, who can lead the delegation and not Wike, as he is an interested party.
Some leaders of Ogoni on Thursday, met with Governor Wike for him to lead the delegation.
One of them, said they chose Wike to prevent the divide and rule tactics by some persons who might want to cause crises.
