Chairman of the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission, RSIEC, Adolphus Omereji says no court order can stop the commission from conducting local government elections.
Enebeli, said this during a chat with journalists in Port Harcourt on Monday.
According to him, there is no court order stopping the conduct of the election, adding that the election will hold on Oct. 5th 2024.
He also said that the electoral act as amended mandates the Independent National Electoral Commission to provide the commission with Voters register.
