“This terrain was waterlogged, we began with reclaiming the land, filling was done upto about 2.1 metres, which is the height of a standard door. Soil replacement was done before raft foundation works commenced due to the geotechnical characteristics of the soil. The raft foundation of each of the structures is at least 1.8 metres of height.

“There are 15 buildings here, we have 1500 capacity classrooms block with lift, hostel blocks for 1,638 students (3 students per room), a moot court, sickbay, admin block, multi purpose hall that can contain 1500 persons, sport facilities, library, cafeteria, internal roads, street lights, 40,000 gallons water tank, dedicated fire station, 3 power generators of 1000kva each, and 2.5mva substation.

“We also have well-furnished 16 units of 3-bedroom flat staff quarters located opposite Hotel Presidential, it has a swimming pool, gymnasium, lounge, and a lawn tennis court. The law school buildings and premises are also equipped with CCTV systems for effective security.
