The Niger Delta Exploration and Production Compàny (NDEP), has donated N15 million worth of relief materials to the Rivers State government to help in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Managing Director of NDEP Lanye Fatona represented by Buba Umar, the Manager of Community Relations and Security, donated the items to the government at the state palliative office in Port Harcourt.
Lanye while donating the items which included 10 units of oxygen concentrators, 5 units of parameter monitors, 4000 units of hand sanitizers,10 units of infrared body temperature kits and 150 packets of nose masks, said the fight against the virus is a collective one.
The MD commended the proactive measures taken so far by Governor Wike while assuring him of the company’s support in fighting the pandemic.
The Commissioner of Health, Prof. Princewill Chike while receiving the items on behalf of the government, commended the company for its benevolence.
