The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) is set to host its 2026 Partners for Sustainable Development Conference in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, with a focus on strengthening collaboration and partnerships to accelerate development across the Niger Delta region.
The two-day conference, scheduled for September 22 and 23, will be held under the theme, “Synergy for Transformation: Aligning Regional Development, Local Governance and Sustainable Partnerships in the Niger Delta.”
As part of activities preceding the main conference, a stakeholders’ meeting will take place on Tuesday, September 22, at 4:00 p.m. at J’s Signature Hotel, providing an opportunity for participants to exchange ideas and prepare for the discussions ahead.
The main conference will hold on Wednesday, September 23, at 10:00 a.m. at the Obi Wali International Conference Centre in Port Harcourt.
According to the commission, the conference will provide a platform for strategic engagement, collaboration and partnerships aimed at advancing sustainable development across the Niger Delta.
The NDDC has also invited stakeholders and partners to participate in the event, adding that the proceedings will be streamed live across its social media platforms.
