The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has set a year-end target for the completion of the Kaa-Ataba Project in Andoni Local Government Area of Rivers State.
The NDDC Executive Director, Projects, Sir Victor Antai, disclosed this during an inspection of ongoing work at the project site.
Antai said the first bridge alignment, measuring about 1.2 kilometres, is expected to be completed within the next two weeks.
He said asphalt laying would commence immediately after the alignment is completed, as construction work continues across various sections of the project.
The NDDC executive reaffirmed the commission’s commitment to delivering the project within the stipulated timeframe.
