The National Association of Resident Doctors, NARD, has vowed to appeal the ruling of an industrial court which ordered them to return to work.
National president of NARD, Dr. Uyilawa Okhuaihesuyi, in a statement on Friday, said they have instructed their lawyers to appeal the ruling and file application for stay of execution.
He said the Association is not satisfied with the ruling, as he urged members to remain calm.
“After consultations with our lawyers, we have instructed our lawyers to appeal the ruling and file application for stay of execution,” he said.
“We urge all members to remain calm and resolute. Everything depends on our firm resolve. We are committed to protecting your rights within the confines of the law. We believe Justice shall be ours ultimately,” he added.
