Organisers of the annual comedy event, MAYOR of PITAKWA, have announced that the show will now run for two days during Easter, beginning from next year.
The host of the event and ace comedian, KO-BABA, made this known in a statement on Monday.
According to him, the comedy show, traditionally held on Easter Monday, will now take place on Easter Sunday and Easter Monday.
“The throne just got bigger. One night was never enough,” he said.
KO-BABA added that the event would hold on Easter Sunday, March 28, and Easter Monday, March 29, describing it as two nights of laughter for residents and visitors to Port Harcourt.
The comedian urged attendees to “dress to impress,” saying, “One city. One Mayor. Two unforgettable nights of laughter.”
The annual event, which brings some of the finest comedians to one stage, has been described by industry stakeholders as the biggest indoor comedy event in the South-South and South-East regions.
