The Nigeria Labour Congress in Rivers State, says to commiserate with families of members who have lost their lives due to hardship by unpaid gratuities and pensions, workers will dress in black on May day.
Chairperson of NLC in the state, Beatrice Itubo made this known in a chat with journalists yesterday.
She stated that the union will continue to express its displeasure over the ill treatment of workers by the state government.
According to her, every worker will come out in black on Monday to commiserate with families of their fallen heroes and those living in agony.
The NLC, is having a running battle with the state government over unpaid gratuities and pensions.
