The leadership of the Marine Base Wood Market in Port Harcourt, that was gutted by fire few weeks ago, says the state government is yet to reach out to the affected traders since the incident.
Chairman of the market, Isaac Amaewhule made this known in a chat with news correspondents, today in Port Harcourt.
Isaac who stated that traders lost their shops and goods worth millions of naira, also said they need help so as to continue in business.
He said though they have been doing the little they can to help themselves, they also need assistance from the state government.
