Chairman of Ikwerre LGA, Hon. Samuel Nwanosike has dispersed large crowd at a UBA Bank in his LGA for not observing the social distancing directive by the state government.
The customers crowded the premises of the bank, in a rush to get money due to the expected lockdown tomorrow, Thursday 14, 2020. The government had lifted the lockdown for yesterday and today, to enable residents stock up food and medicine.

According to sources, the chairman cautioned the customers for not putting on face masks and maintaining social distancing. The chairman who ordered them to leave the premises said their actions could frustrate the actions of the state government in curbing the spread of the virus in the state.
