Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, has accused the presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, Peter Obi of making false claims over the alleged clamping of his vehicle at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport.
Obi had, in a statement, alleged that his vehicle was unfairly clamped at the Abuja airport, suggesting the incident was politically motivated.
Reacting during an appearance on Politics Today on Channels Television, Keyamo dismissed the allegation, describing Obi as “a liar” who “lies for fun, like a fish drinking water.”
The minister insisted that CCTV footage from the airport contradicted Obi’s claims of political persecution, maintaining that the former governor’s account of the incident was false.
Keyamo further stated that Obi had lied about the entire airport saga and rejected suggestions that the incident was an act of political victimisation.
