Minister of Police Affairs, Maigari Dingyadi, has explained why it is impossible for President Muhammadu Buhari to visit all families affected by insecurity and banditry.
Maigari in a statement yesterday, said it is not possible because the attacks happen on a daily basis and in different places.
He also said the nature of his job is a major challenge, adding that the president sends delegates to wherever he is unable to visit.
“These attacks are happening almost on a daily basis and is not possible for the president to visit all the places for condolences. And if you send a delegation, it is as if you were there, is all the same,” he said.
This follows the attack on travellers in Sokoto state, few days ago. President Muhammadu Buhari expressed sadness over the gruesome attacks.
