The Rivers State House of Assembly, is set to grill the Executive chairman of Emouha local government area, Hon. Chidi Llyod over claims of illegal mortuary discovered in the area.
The Assembly in a statement, said it would also grill Acting Spokesperson of the State Police Command, DSP. Grace Koko on the issue.
Hon. Lloyd had in a now trending video claimed to have discovered an illegal mortuary in Elele with dead bodies.
He alleged that the mortuary may have been used as dump site for kidnappers.
However, shortly after Lloyd’s claim, the police in a swift response denied the allegation.
DSP. Koko said the mortuary is that of the abandoned Elele General Hospital and not a camp for dead bodies of kidnap victims.
