Chairman of the Rivers State Civil Society Organizations, Enefaa Georgewill says they will use every possible legal means to ensure that the Late, Chima Ikwunado and four others get justice.
Enefaa, disclosed this in a statement while at the Police, Zone 16 Headquarters in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, Today.
He said they were invited by the Police, to complete the statement they made during their first visit, few weeks ago.
“We Are At Police Zone 16 Headquarters in Bayelsa, To Complete Our Statement As Suggested By The Police,” he said.
“We Promise To Make Sure We Use Every Legal Means To Make Sure Chima Ikwunado And The Ikoku 4 Get Justice In This Case Of Extreme Torture And Murder Of Innocent Nigerians,” he added.
Enefaa, has being at the forefront of the matter to ensuring that Justice is served.
The late Chima and four others, were arrested and tortured by officers of the disbanded Special Anti Robbery Squad, SARS, about three years ago.
Chima died in the process while others were left with varying degrees of injury.
The incident, sparked public outcry, prompting the Police hierarchy to dismiss and detain the suspects, but since then, not much has been heard of the matter.
