Member representing Eleme/Tai/Oyigbo Federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Chisom Dike has called on Governor Wike to relax the curfew in the area.
This according to the Honourable Dike, is to enable the people restock foodstuff and other essential commodities.
Dike made the appeal during a radio interview in Port Harcourt yesterday.
The lawmaker who condemned the attack on security agents during the protest said his people are suffering as a result of the curfew which has lasted over ten days.
He urged the residents of Oyigbo to remain calm and law abiding as government seeks to resolve the issues at hand.
