Unknown gunmen have kidnapped two persons in Bonny Local Government Area of Rivers State.
The victims, Ezekiel Hart and MacLean Akwe were abducted at an event center in the area on Thursday.
A resident of Bonny, Dennis Allwell Brown who confirmed the incident, said the situation is worrisome as five Bonny residents abducted in 2020 were yet to be released.
He said their abductors have refused to release the victims despite efforts by the community and relevant security agencies.
Allwell, appealed to the government to beef up security in Bonny and its environs, to forestall such attacks.
