A group known as the Movement for the Survival of Izon Ethnic Nationality in Niger Delta, MOSIEND, says the biggest mistake Governor Wike would make as governor of Rivers State is to attempt to impose a candidate on the people come 2023.
National Secretary of the group, Amain Cottrell in a statement on Friday, said the governor should ensure fairness; Justice and equity by allowing Rivers people choose who becomes Governor in 2023.
He said the Governor of the state must come from the Ogoni or riverine areas of the state.
Cottrell also said the Governor should evaluate his relationship with the youths as they are unhappy about the way he abandoned them immediately after winning the 2019 reelection bid.
In addition, he said Gov. Wike should avoid listening to sycophants and praise singers as they will run away the moment he leaves office.
