Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, on Monday welcomed the Minister for Works, Dave Umahi, and the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, along with his team, to the Government House in Port Harcourt.
The visit coincides with the National Security Adviser’s tour of Rivers State to inspect the Kpean Oil Spill sites in Ogoniland. He was accompanied by the Minister of Environment, Hon. Balarabe Lawal, as part of efforts to assess the environmental impact and ensure the implementation of necessary remedial measures.
Governor Fubara commended the delegation for their proactive approach, emphasizing the importance of coordinated actions to address the spill and safeguard the affected communities.
