The Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, has denied reports suggesting he has resigned from his position, describing a purported resignation letter circulating online as false.

His media aide, Bolaji Tunji, dismissed the document as “fake news,” affirming that the minister remains in office and continues to carry out his duties in line with the directive of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The clarification comes amid speculation over Adelabu’s potential governorship ambition in Oyo State under the All Progressives Congress. However, the minister has maintained that he is focused on his current responsibilities at the Power Ministry.
