Popular Transport Company, GIG Motors has reacted to the kidnapping incident involving its bus en route from Utako to Port Harcourt on Friday.
The company in a statement commiserated with families of the affected passengers, adding that it is working with authorities to ensure a safe resolution.
GIGM also said that it is committed to supporting the families throughout the process.
“Our thoughts are with the families and loved affected by the recent incident. At GIGM, the safety of our guests is our top priority.
“We are working closely with the authorities to ensure a safe resolution and are committed to supporting the families throughout this process. Please rely on verified information as we continue to prioritize the safety of all involved,” part of the statement read.
Earlier the company was called out in a now trending video, and accused of not doing enough to address the issue.
