A governorship aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State, Alabo George-Kelly, has reportedly withdrawn from the party’s upcoming governorship primaries, declaring his support for whoever emerges as the party’s flagbearer.
His decision comes just hours after Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, also announced his withdrawal from the APC governorship race, amid growing political realignments ahead of the 2027 general elections.
