Gani Toba salutes RSPC for arresting the abductors of his wife, Gift

The leader of the Conscience of Ogoni People, Gani Toba has commended the Rivers State Police Command for the arrest of the abductors of his wife, Gift Gani Toba.

Gani Toba in a chat with journalists yesterday said the gallant effort of the police simply shows that they are committed in ensuring the protection of lives and properties in the state

The victim according to reports was abducted on the 25th of August 2020 in Port Harcourt.

Meanwhile, the three suspects were yesterday arraigned before a Federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt on a two count charge bothering on fellony and hostage taking.

The presiding judge, Justice E.A Obele ordered that the three accused persons be remanded in the PH correctional centre till Feb 2, 2020 for the next sitting.
