Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has reiterated that incoming Governor of the state, Sim Fubara is not coming to serve him but, Rivers people.
Wike, made this known when he appeared as a guest on Channels TV on Monday morning.
According to him, he will distance himself from the incoming administration and not interfere in the affairs of the state. However, he disclosed that he would be available if the new governor sought for his advice after leaving office.
Wike, declared that he supported Fubara to succeed him, and the respectful thing for him is to maintain a distance.
The governor also said he is confident that Fubara will consolidate on his achievements, and deliver the dividends of democracy to Rivers people.
