Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has thanked residents for their continued support, saying the large crowds at project commissioning ceremonies show confidence in his administration.
Fubara spoke during the commissioning of the 14.5-kilometre Agba-Ndele-Abua/Odual Road and river-crossing bridge.
He said the projects would make campaigning easier for his party ahead of the 2027 elections, as their impact would speak for his administration.
The governor noted that although the bridge was initiated by the previous administration, he had no difficulty completing it because governance is a continuum.
He said the road and bridge would improve connectivity, ease movement and boost economic activities in the benefiting communities.
Fubara pledged to continue appreciating and reciprocating the people’s support until the end of his tenure.
