Newly inaugurated Chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Rivers State, Chief, Tony Okocha has said that the party will takeover Brick House in 2027.
Speaking, after he was inaugurated into office by National Chairman of the APC, Umar Ganduje at an event in Port Harcourt on Saturday, Okocha said that Gov. Sim Fubara has no party and cannot run in 2027 as an independent candidate because the nation’s constitution does not allow that.
According to him, with the caliber of dignitaries in the party, no party can stand the APC in any election in Rivers State.
Okocha stated that with his inauguration by the National Chairman, no power can remove him as Chairman of the party in the State, noting that the decision of the party is superior to any court order.
He called on the Chief, Emeka Beke-led faction to join him and move the state forward, declaring that APC is one under his leadership.
As you may, Tony Okocha and others were elected as leaders of the party during the Rivers APC Congress few weeks ago despite a court order restraining the party from going ahead with the Congress.
