Four people have reportedly been killed in a road crash at Agip, along Ada George Road in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, following an alleged confrontation between a police officer and a motorist.
According to eyewitness accounts, the police officer allegedly attempted to collect money from the motorist, who reportedly sped off. The officer is said to have fired shots at the vehicle as it drove away.
The motorist reportedly lost control of the vehicle while attempting to escape and crashed into four people, who allegedly died at the scene.
The incident has reportedly caused tension in the area, with details surrounding the circumstances still emerging.
