The National Emergency Management Agency has called on the Rivers state government and its agencies to ensure they put in place a plan that will mitigate the impact of the flooding this year.
Zonal Coordinator of the Agency, Mr Tepikor made the call in a statement on Thursday.
He also said that fifteen local government areas in th state are at risk of high flooding.
He added that the flooding in the State will be a result of high rainfall amounts as high as 2700 millimeters.
