The Nigeria centre for disease control NCDC has announced the confirmation of fifty one new coronavirus cases today.
This was made public today on the NCDC website with a breakdown of the cases thus:
Lagos -32; Kano- 6; Kwara- 5; FCT- 2; Oyo- 2; Katsina- 2; Ogun-1 and Ekiti-1
With the confirmation of this cases, Nigeria has recorded a total number of 493 cases, discharged 159 and 17 deaths. This is the highest record of coronavirus cases in a single day.
