Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has accused the federal government of instigating security crises in Rivers State.
Wike disclosed this during a meeting with the Rotary Club of Port Harcourt, on Friday.
The governor, also berated the All Progressives Congress led Federal Government, stating that it has dragged Nigeria fifty years backward due to its bad governance.
He said the APC, has failed Nigerians and deserve to be voted out in 2023.
He alleged that the Kaduna State Governor Nasir El Rufai, had led some APC governors to the presidency to demand the withdrawal of the then Commissioner of Police in the state. Inorder to bring a new Police Boss to cause crises in the state.
“Now, in order to cause crisis in our state, they brought the CP they wanted. At the end of the day, God did not allow them to have their way,” he said.
Wike also said that his administration is doing everything possible to ensure the protection of lives and properties
“…But thank God that in our state, we are doing everything we can to protect lives and property. For us, we believe that everybody has s role to play in this country,” he added.
