The Federal Government of Nigeria, says it has reached an agreement with striking Judiciary and legislative workers, as they are expected to resume work next week.
Minister of Labour and Employment, Sen. Chris Ngige, disclosed this in a chat with journalists on Friday in Abuja.
This was after a meeting between the government and the leadership of both unions on Friday.
“…And with this achievement of today, we are hopeful that by next week, the chambers of our courts and the doors of the state assemblies will be open for business activities, ” he said.
“Right now, we expect the unions to go back to their members and give them final briefing on what we have achieved today,” Ngige added.
He, commended the Nigeria Governors Forum and both unions for the dialogue.
