However, it seems Nigerians are not backing down as the #EndSARS campaign has continued to rage on Twitter. A tweet by one user captures why.
According to @Foluso_Official: “And Again the IG bans #FSARS. They’ve been banning them since 2017. Who are they deceiving? Tomorrow again Sars will go and kidnap, rob and kill innocents. We don’t want to see #FSARS on Uniforms AGAIN! Ban this madness PERMANENTLY!! #FSARS #EndSarsParmanentlyNow #EndSarsNow:
The tweeter also also attached images of newspaper headlines showing the three other times (December 2017, September 2018 and January 2019) the IGP has banned FSARS, only for the group to resurface.
