Some heavily armed gunmen have reportedly abducted a Port Harcourt-based lawyer, Barrister Bisola Pauletta from her residence at the Rumuokwurusi axis of the city, on Sunday.
The kidnappers dressed in combat uniform allegedly trailed the barrister to her residence where they whisked her away in their vehicle. This is as she was waiting for her gate to be opened.
Bisola’s sister disclosed this in an online video which has gone viral. In the video, she pleaded with her sister’s abductors to release her unconditionally.
She equally noted that their mother who is also a lawyer was physically manhandled as she tried to stop them from whisking her daughter away.
The State Police command is yet to make any official statement regarding the incident.
