Chairman of Eleme Local Government Area, Oborilomate Ollor has announced a payment of N50,000 to students of the LGA in tertiarty institutions nationwide.
The council boss in a statement yesterday, said their quest to improve the educational sector is unrivaled.
According to him, disbursement will start from the first week of October.
His statement reads,
On our Recent Pronouncement of N50,000 Bursary payment to our Students in Tertiary Institutions;
Our quest to improve our Educational Sector in Eleme is unrivaled. This is because we believe it is one of the surest way to enhance security and peaceful coexistence in our LGA.
As part of our investment in education, we have disclosed a sum of Fifty thousand naira bursary for all Eleme students in tertiary institutions nationwide. Disbursement is to start from the first week of October.
We also intend to look at the Postgraduate students after concluding payment to the Undergraduates. We however urge our students to keep being of good conduct wherever they find themselves and also take their studies very serious.
