Chairman of Eleme Local Government Area, Obarilomate Ollor has criticised the Minister of Transportation, Chibuike Amaechi for allegedly donating sewing machines to some members of the All Progressives Congress in Eleme and Onne.
Ollor, in a statement yesterday, said instead of looking for ways to expand the Onne port and employ people of the area, the minister is embarking on cheap empowerment programmes.
He urged the minister to carryout life-changing programmes that would benefit his members and everyone in the area.
There are reports making the rounds that the Minister donated sewing machines to his supporters through the Management of the Nigeria Ports Authorities.
