Chairman of Eleme Local Government Area, Hon. Obarilomate Ollor has accused the management of the Nigeria Ports Authority, of engaging in partisan politics under the guise of Corporate Social Responsibility.
Ollor, who disclosed this when he visited the management yesterday, accused the NPA of undermining the leadership of the LGA and the state government.
He berated the NPA of donating items to only members of the All Progressives Congress and not everyone.
He also alleged that the NPA, has been carrying out campaigns for the APC, adding that the act is capable of causing confusion.
Ollor, issued a 7-day ultimatum to the management to explain their actions or face legal action.
He said the council will resist any attempt to cause confusion and division in the area.
