The Management of Elano Limited has distributed foodstuffs to the people of Eleme LGA to help cushion the effect of the lockdown in the state.
The Chairman of Elano Limited, Gomba Okanji yesterday, donated the food items to the people of the 10 clans of the LGA. He said they decided to donate the items due to the hardship faced by the people, which is occassioned by the closure of their businesses.
The King of Eleme, Phillip Obele while receiving the items on behalf of his people, commended the chairman, for the kind gesture. He said the act is a demonstration of love and prayed God to bless the organization for the gesture aimed at easing the sufferings of the people.
The food items ,which includes 2000 bags of rice, 1800 bags of beans, garri and yams were given to the representatives of the clans to distribute to their people.
