The Rivers State Governor, Ezebunwo Nyesom Wike has alleged that criminals terrorising and causing mayhem in the state come in from neighbouring Anambra State.
Gov. Wike, while inspecting large arms and ammunitions displayed by the police at Government House said, it is worrisome that criminals still find ways to make the state unsafe despite measures place to curb the global pandemic – COVID-19.
Wike alleged that criminals go back to their operational base in Anambra State, after operations in Rivers.
He, however, assured Rivers people of his administration’s preparedness to end crime criminality.
