Rivers State recorded no new cases of covid-19 yesterday. The total number of confirmed cases in the state still stands at 11,705 with 10,924 discharged and 151 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control made this known on it’s official website on Sunday.
In total, Nigeria recorded 168 new cases. Lagos recorded the highest number with -75, Abia-26, Niger-20, FCT-15, Benue-8, Ogun-8, Osun-7, Edo-3, Kaduna-2, Kano-2 and Ondo-2.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 201,798 with 190,563 discharged and 2655 deaths.
The NCDC has said obeying all covid-19, protocols is key to curbing the spread of the deadly virus.
