Rivers State recorded 124 new cases of Covid-19, yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 10,591 with 9,168 discharged and 132 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), made this known on its official website on Wednesday.
In total Nigeria recorded 582 new cases. Lagos recorded the highest number of cases with -175, Rivers-124, Edo-60, Delta-57, Akwa Ibom-44, Anambra-25, Bayelsa-22, Gombe-19, Ekiti-12, FCT-12, Kaduna-11, Kano-6, Benue-5, Plateau-5, Ogun-3 and Jigawa-2.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 193,013 with 179,000 recovered patients, and 2,480 deaths.
Meanwhile, 11 deaths were recorded across the nation yesterday, according to the NCDC.
