The Nigeria Center for Disease Control NCDC, has called on Nigerians to tread with caution and obey all COVID-19 protocols, as they travel during the Easter period to be with family and friends.
The Commission, in a statement on its official Twitter handle yesterday, said people should remember that the virus spreads when they move about.
The NCDC, also said it does not want an increase in the number of positive cases, like it was experienced during Christmas.
The Commission, urged everyone to continue to take responsibility, so as to limit transmission rate of the dreaded virus.
“As Easter approaches we recognise that people want to travel to be with family & friends; yet we do not want the spikes experienced over Christmas,” it said.
“Remember #COVID19 spreads when people move around. We must all continue to #TakeResponsibility to limit the transmission,” the Commission, added.
