Rivers State recorded 3 new cases of COVID-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 6,912 with 6,775 discharged and 100 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), made this known on its Twitter handle, during its daily update of COVID-19
In total, Nigeria recorded 121 new Cases. Lagos recorded the highest number with – 40, FCT-15, Katsina-12, Kaduna-11, Imo-8, Kebbi-8, Nasarawa-8, Delta-7, Edo-3, Osun-3, Rivers-3, Ekiti-1, Jigawa-1 and Kano-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 162,762 with 151,532 recovered patients, and 2056 deaths.
Meanwhile, the agency says despite taking the vaccines, Nigerians should continue to obey all COVID-19 protocols, so as to stay safe.
