The Coach of Rivers United Football Club, Stanley Eguma has reportedly been kidnapped.
Sources say he was abducted along Enugu Road, on his way to Port Harcourt, after a match with Adamawa United in Gombe, on Sunday.
The club is yet to release an official statement concerning the incident.
A source close to the coach confirmed that: “the coach did not return with the team on Tuesday but that’s all I can tell you. We hear he has been kidnapped but we are waiting to hear officially from the club management.”
