The Presidential Campaign Council of the People’s Democratic Party in Rivers State, has reacted to the endorsement of Peter Obi by elder statesman, Edwin Clark.
Clark, yesterday endorsed the Labour party’s presidential candidate few hours after former president, Olusegun Obasanjo threw his weight behind Obi.
Spokesperson of the council, Leloonu Nwibubasa in a statement on Tuesday said Clark’s endorsement means nothing.
According to him, Edwin Clark endorsed Jonathan in 2015 but, he lost the election to President, Muhammadu Buhari.
He said Nigerians will decide who wins the presidential poll and that Atiku Abubakar will emerge victorious being the most experienced and qualified of all candidates.
