Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has taken a swipe at the All Progressives Congress in the state noting that it cannot get any electoral support from Rivers people because the soul of the party have departed leaving just the carcass.
The govermor said this during the flag-off of the Mgbuodohia road in Rumuolumeni, Obio/Akpor local government area of the state on Tuesday.
He urged the people of Rivers State to be wary of the APC governorship candidate, Tonye Cole, who is being fronted by Chibuike Amaechi because they do not mean well for the State.
He disclosed that even when the former governor awarded the Rumuolumene -Rumuepirikom road it was abandoned, but under his administration, the project has been completed.
Governor Wike also took a swipe at former PDP national chairman, Prince Uche Secondus and insisted the companies that bided and got the contract awards for projects sited in Andoni were introduced by him.
According to governor the companies were paid, but those projects were never executed and Secondus cannot extricate himself from the companies that got those jobs.
