Chairman of Ahoada West Presents N4B Budget To Legislative Council

The Executive Chairman of Ahoada West Local Government Area, Hon. Iyekor Ikporo has presented the Finance and Appropriation Supplementary Bill for 2024 to the Legislative Council.

The presentation, took place today, Thursday, 28th November 2024, at the Legislative Council Chambers in Akinima, .

The total supplementary budget presented stands at ₦4,342,456,712.00, allocated as follows:

Current Expenditure: ₦2,328,576,789.92

Capital Expenditure: ₦1,970,455,414.96

Reserved Fund: ₦43,424,567.12 (1% from non-capital expenditure).

In his remarks, Hon. Ikporo emphasized the importance of the supplementary budget in addressing unforeseen challenges and ensuring the completion of critical ongoing projects aimed at improving the welfare of the community.

The leader of the Legislative Council Hon. Buduka Ayugbokor mentioned that the council would deliberate on the bill in the coming days, with an assurance that the process will align with principles of due process and accountability.
